LoanX provides comprehensive loan management capabilities, allowing you to create, select, search, and manage loan applications efficiently. This guide covers all aspects of working with loans in the app.

The loan management system in LoanX is designed to streamline the loan origination process with:

  • Intuitive Loan Creation: Multiple ways to create new loan applications
  • Smart Search: Find loans quickly using various criteria
  • Contact Integration: Create loans directly from your device contacts
  • Seamless Selection: Switch between loans effortlessly
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor loan status and workflow progression

Loan Creation

Creating Loans from Contacts

The fastest way to create a new loan is by importing information from your device contacts.

Prerequisites:

  • Contacts permission granted to LoanX
  • Contact information includes phone numbers

Steps:

  1. From the Loan Selection screen, tap "Create Loan"
  2. Select "From Contacts"
  3. Browse or search your contacts list
  4. Select the contact you want to create a loan for
  5. Review the imported information:
    • Name: Automatically filled from contact
    • Phone Number: Primary phone number
    • Mobile Number: Mobile phone (if available)
  6. Tap "Create Loan" to finalize

Contact Information Used:

  • First and Last Name
  • Primary phone number
  • Mobile phone number
  • Additional contact details as available

Manual Loan Creation

Create loans by manually entering borrower information.

Steps:

  1. From the Loan Selection screen, tap "Create Loan"
  2. Select "Manual Entry"
  3. Fill in the required information:
    • Full Name: Borrower's complete name
    • Phone Number: Primary contact number
    • Mobile Number: Mobile phone number
  4. Add optional information:
    • Email address
    • Additional notes
    • Loan preferences
  5. Tap "Save" to create the loan

Required Fields:

  • Borrower name (minimum)
  • At least one phone number (primary or mobile)

Best Practices:

  • Use complete, properly formatted names
  • Include area codes for phone numbers
  • Verify contact information accuracy before saving

Loan Creation via Voice Assistant

When using the AI Voice Assistant, you can create loans through natural conversation:

Voice Commands:

  • "Create a new loan for [Name]"
  • "I need to start a loan application"
  • "Add a borrower named [Name] with phone [number]"

Process:

  1. Activate the voice assistant
  2. Say your loan creation request
  3. Provide requested information verbally
  4. Confirm details when prompted
  5. The loan will be created automatically

Loan Selection and Management

Viewing Available Loans

The Loan Selection screen shows all loans you have access to:

Loan List Display:

  • Loan Name: Borrower name or loan identifier
  • Status Indicator: Current workflow stage
  • Last Modified: When the loan was last updated
  • Quick Actions: Tap to select or view details

List Features:

  • Scroll: Browse through all available loans
  • Pull to Refresh: Update the loan list
  • Search: Find specific loans quickly

Selecting a Loan

To work with a specific loan:

  1. Browse the loan list on the selection screen
  2. Tap the loan you want to work with
  3. The loan becomes your "active loan"
  4. The app transitions to the main interface for that loan

Active Loan Behavior:

  • The selected loan is remembered between app sessions
  • All features and tools work within the context of the active loan
  • Voice assistant conversations reference the selected loan
  • Reports and calculations apply to the active loan

Loan Search and Filtering

Find loans quickly using the search functionality:

Search Options:

  • Borrower Name: Search by first or last name
  • Phone Number: Find loans by phone number
  • Loan ID: Search by loan identifier
  • Date Range: Filter by creation or modification date

Using Search:

  1. On the Loan Selection screen, tap the search icon
  2. Enter your search criteria
  3. Results filter automatically as you type
  4. Tap any result to select that loan
  5. Clear search to return to full loan list

Search Tips:

  • Use partial names for broader results
  • Phone number search works with partial numbers
  • Search is case-insensitive
  • Results update in real-time as you type

Working with Selected Loans

Loan Context

Once you've selected a loan, the entire app operates within that loan's context:

Contextual Features:

  • Voice Assistant: All conversations and calculations relate to the selected loan
  • Contact Information: Easy access to borrower contact details
  • Call Integration: Direct calling capabilities for borrower phone numbers
  • Document Management: Documents associated with the specific loan
  • Progress Tracking: Workflow status for the current loan

Switching Between Loans

To work with a different loan:

Option 1: Via Settings

  1. Go to Settings or tap the menu icon
  2. Look for "Current Loan" or "Selected Loan"
  3. Tap to return to loan selection
  4. Select a different loan

Option 2: Via Navigation

  1. Use the back navigation if available
  2. Return to the loan selection screen
  3. Choose a different loan

Option 3: Via Voice Assistant

  • Say "Switch to loan for [borrower name]"
  • Ask "Show me my other loans"
  • Request "Change to a different loan"

Loan Information Display

The app displays key loan information in various places:

Navigation Bar:

  • Current loan name or borrower name
  • Loan status indicator

Contact Details:

  • Primary phone number with direct dial capability
  • Mobile number with call/SMS options
  • Email address (if available)

Loan Metadata:

  • Creation date
  • Last modification time
  • Loan stage or status
  • Assigned loan officer (if applicable)

Contact Integration Features

Calling Borrowers

LoanX provides integrated calling capabilities:

Available Calling Options:

  • Primary Phone: Office or home phone number
  • Mobile Phone: Mobile/cellular number
  • Join Existing Call: Join a call already in progress

Making Calls:

  1. From the main interface, look for call icons
  2. Tap the phone icon next to the desired number
  3. Choose from available calling options
  4. The call will be initiated through your device's phone app

Call Options Display:

  • Each contact method shows as a separate option
  • Icons indicate the type of number (landline vs. mobile)
  • Options are organized by borrower if multiple borrowers exist

Contact Permissions

Required Permissions:

  • Contacts Access: To import borrower information
  • Phone Access: To make calls directly from the app

Managing Permissions:

  1. Go to iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Contacts
  2. Find LoanX and ensure it's enabled
  3. For phone permissions: Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone

LoanX automatically saves loan information:

Troubleshooting Loan Management

Common Issues

Loan List Not Loading

Solutions:

Cannot Create Loans
